HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT AND BOOK INTO CLASSES?

We use the MindBody booking system for all account management, purchases, and bookings. It’s integrated into our website so you don’t have to slog through any annoying account making or sign ups.

If you’re an app-collector (like us!), you can download the Good Times App.

I’VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE, WHERE SHOULD I START?

Firstly, welcome to the club! We want to make sure that you feel comfortable no matter your ability. So, we’ve made all of our classes open level and ready to go for any level or mood. Our clever teachers will be right by your side (but not the whole time, we promise) to make sure you feel supported.

Our recommendation? Start with the feel-good Good Moves classes to get in the flow, and explore from there.

Please know you’re always welcome to take everything at your own pace and exercises can be modified with ease. Move with your mood is our best advice!

HOW DO I GET READY FOR MY FIRST CLASS?

→ Wear something stretchy and comfortable, and please wear socks (no socks, no play).

→ BYO (water bottle, that is). We have water available but don’t currently supply cups.

→ Bring a towel (especially when attending the notorious Sweat Class!)

→ Try to avoid a massive meal 1.5 hours before class.

→ YES to change rooms and WC on site, N/A to showers.

WHAT ARE THE GOOD TIMES STUDIO COMMUNITY VIBES?

Arrive at least ten minutes before class, because empty reformers will be given to our waitlisted friends/or keen walk-ins.

Roll Call! Check in with your teacher or at reception before each class, so they can mark you as attending. Like school, but chill.

Pregnancy, dodgy knees, cramps? We want to make sure you’re comfortable so tell your teacher before class if there’s anything they need to know about your body. We respect your privacy.

Other than water and a towel, please leave all of your belongings on the shelves in the change room. We don’t want to accidentally squash your iPhone (or fresh market blooms) when we’re moving around the studio.

Give everything a go! We only invite you to move in ways that we believe every body is capable of. If it doesn’t work for you – that’s ok. Be proud you tried because we will be.

IM PREGNANT, CAN I STILL COME TO CLASS?

Congratulations! If you’ve been cleared to exercise by your doctor, you can absolutely join our group classes.

Our highly skilled teachers fully understand the guidelines around exercise during pregnancy. We have wedges to support you during class if you need and can always offer options and alternatives to accommodate you.

Check out our Pregnancy + Pilates page for more information and how movement can benefit your pregnancy journey.

NOT FEELING 100%?

While we believe in sweating stuff out, if you have cold or flu symptoms please refrain from classes until you’re well. Get some lemon and honey in some hot water, instead.

If you’re not feeling 100% in any capacity please stay at home, preferably in bed while bingeing ’00s rom-coms (our team would be doing the same).

If you have any injuries please get the all clear from your doctor before attending class.

If you have something else going on with your body, like pregnancy, then let your teacher know that you may need a little bit of TLC in your practice.

Always listen to your body and don’t be afraid to speak up (in life and in class).

IS THERE SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH PILATES?

In our (highly experienced) books, never. But make sure you do what works for your body, mind, mood and schedule.

If you’re new to pilates, then a nice 2-3 classes is a great starting point.

Once you’re as hooked as we are then you can build up to 5-6 classes per week.

To make the most out of your Good Times workouts, we suggest taking a mixture of classes to ensure you’re getting a range of fun, full-body movement.

The nitty gritty on scheduling your class in style

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR I JUST DON’T SHOW UP?

Has your boss got you working late? Feeling a bad case of the hay fever sniffles coming on? Whatever your reason, we just ask that you cancel your class on our website, app or the MindBody app. We don't accept cancellations via email, phone or social media.

Our cancellation policies are in place to ensure that everyone has inclusive access to classes and the studio. As part of a tight-knit community of movers and shaker, we hope you can understand ☻

cANCELLATIONS:

  • Cancellations made more than 6 hours before class will get the session backLate Cancellations made less than 6 hours before class will forfeit the session.

No-Shows and absences will forfeit the session.

  • No Shows and Late Cancels will incur a $10 fee

Club Members will have 1 fee waived per calendar month

Fees are charged to the card on file 48 hours after

  • No Shows will incur a $20 fee

Late Cancels will incur a $10 fee

A Late Cancel 30 mins before class is considered a No Show and will be charged as one

Club Members will have 1 fee waived per calendar month

Fees are charged to the card on file 48 hours after

HOW DO WAITLISTS WORK?

While we wish we could have everyone in the studio, we want to make sure we preserve our intimate approach to movement. Because of this, classes can fill up quickly! You’re welcome to join our waitlist to (hopefully) nab your spot.

You’ll be notified via email and/or text if we have a place spare.

Simply say “YAY” or “NAY” to the class by responding.

We’re so excited to see you so if you don’t respond to our message, we’ll assume that you’re coming along (the system will automatically add you in).

If you don’t respond to that email or text and instead ‘late cancel’ your class (this is when class starts within 6 hours) you’ll forfeit the session as if you did attend and you may be charged a late fee.

Our cancellation policy allies to waitlisted classes too. Be sure to remove yourself from a waitlisted class if you know you cannot make it – that way, the next person has the opportunity to move up the waitlist.

Hot tip: Always jump on a waitlist, you’ll most likely get in! ☻

CAN I GET TEXTS NOTIFICATIONS AND EMAILS FROM YOU?

Of course! You can set up your account to receive automated emails and/or texts. The system will send these emails and/or texts when:

+ You get into a class from a waitlist

+ An autopay has processed or failed

+ You’re absent or Late Cancel a class

HOW DO I CANCEL OR PAUSE MY CLUB MEMBERSHIP?

Vacay time? Moving to Sydney (traitor!) We get that life happens and we are here to make it work.

You can cancel or pause your Club Membership autopay contract any time you like, for as long as you like.

We need at least a week's notice to process any cancellations or holds. This ensures your payment doesn’t go through before we can action it. Trust us, we know that sucks!

Club Membership cancellation and holds can only be processed via an email to us. That’s, hello@goodtimespilates.com.au

Read the full Club Membership Terms & Conditions here.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY SAVED CARD DETAILS?

You can only update your stored card details on our website here.

If you update on the MindBody App or Good Times App we will not have access to the new card details.

Go to My Account > Profile Info > scroll to Card Info > click the pencil icon to EDIT or Add New Card to ADD > Check your Country settings > Save

Why cant i book a class when i have active passes?

Our system needs a stored card on file + your date of birth in order to take all our classes. You can update your profile here > my account > sign in.
If you are still having issues booking with an active pass, get in touch with us
here.

I PURCHASED A TEASER BUT IT’S EXPIRING AND i HAVEN’T BOOK A CLASS YET

Your purchase receipt will show an expiry of 14 days from sale date. Once you book a class, your teaser will adjust to 14 days from your first booked class. When booking your first class, make sure it is the most recent class you’d like to take. As you won’t be able to book a class if it happens before the date of your first booked class.

DO YOU HAVE GIFT VOUCHERS?

You bet we do! Beautifully designed as a perfect gift for the passionate pilates-goer in your life.
